Hey! I'm Kelley (with an e before the y!) and I'm planning on majoring in illustration. My hometown is Galt, California and I have some experience with Photoshop and Illustrator.
hiii! i'm jessica and i'm from about 40 minutes away from baltimore. i don't commute though because thats just tiring. i'm not sure what i'm going to major in buuut i'll figure it out. i have absolutely no experience, so bare with me!
Hi, I'm Rachel and I'm from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I am a fibers major and have very little experience with most computer programs except Final Cut Pro (we're not using that this semester, just my luck!), so I will try my hardest and hope for the best.
Hey, I'm Katie Verdieck. I am from Coatesville Pennsylvania and I really hope to major in drawing and art education. I've used power point like once or twice in tenth grade so Yay! thats my only experience with any of the programs mentioned, but I learn fast so don't worry.
Hey! I'm Katy Mitchell and I'm from Willoughby, Ohio. I plan on majoring in graphic design, with a printmaking concentration. I've had a bit of experience messing about in photoshop, and one time my sister taught me how to make flash animations but other than that I really don't know what I'm doing! Presumably, that will be changing soon though!

so i think were supposed to post a second thing so i guess ill do that, by the way nice to meet everyone who posted so far, but i wont connect this to you when i talk to you in person :/ ill forget.
anyways the movie was interesting in what it was saying about how videos and pictures make an actual painting or artwork less and more important. It made me sad that he said less important since 2-d art is mostly what I do but I definitely agree with the making seeing it in person more important.
oh and to emma i'm pretty sure that the intro counts as a post so yay for an easy post :)
Hi class :) I'm Olivia from Baltimore! (Well actually i grew up in Catonsville which is a suburb of Baltimore so no, I cannot exactly show you around). I'm planning on being a painting major, which of course is subject to change, with a minor in some feild of liberal arts.
I don't do too much with computers besides messing around online BUT I'm not an idiot so I think I can figure things out...

I took a graphic arts course in high school were we mainly used photoshop, so I know a little about that program. Aside from that, in middle school we were all given laptops and had to take a basic course on the programs. So I know a little about the general programs such as Word and PowerPoint.
Hey, I'm Natalie. I'm from Portland, Oregon and I am probably going to major in fibers. I don't have that much experience with computers, but that's mostly by choice. I don't hate computers but I prefer to work hands on and I think I learn more from human interaction than from computers. Maybe it's because I feel like the internet is some kind of other-world that isn't real and I'm not connected to. But I am definitely interested in seeing what we will learn from this class.
Hola. I'm Joe, the only guy in class besides our teacher. I'm from South Florida and I'm a painter. I've used photoshop for editing and digital photography. I finally got a macbook this year, thus I had no friends until then. I love the internet, although I'm not too keen on blogging. So yeah, lets learn together.
