i found this man, Lincoln Cushing, online when i was looking for Elements homework. i just thought that his illustrations were pretty cool and graphic and simple. some of them are quite dated but theyre still holding their own!

this isnt even really the style of illustration i am usually drawn too but for some reason i appreciate the organic graphic style he has.
the one about the apartheid is beautifully excused and pretty powerful.

Just took a look at the website. I think because each image conveys such a strong message, the simplistic style of the pieces work well with the messages. The longer I spent looking at a piece, the more I appreciated the simplicity of it, not only in the way in which it was drawn, but the color choices, and line quality as well.
so i also looked at the web site. it was neat but just not the kind of art i'm into, but i like to see everything so thanks :)
also if anyone could tell me how to make my own post with my own title on a different subject that would be wonderful. the only thing i see is about making my own blog and then it asks me to make it a URL?? im so confused by it.
